According to Burn’s imdb page, he is going to be appearing in the new film “Souled Out”. So far no character name for him has been released, and details on the production itself are sketchy. We have a few leads to follow up for more details, so we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as those come in!

The film is described as “A coming-of-age drama set in the 1970s Northern Soul underground music scene.” (imdb) The BBC has the following article about the film – however, despite being listed on imdb, Burn is NOT listed among the main cast on this or any other article about the film, so it looks to be a small/guest role only. Filming began on the 18th August (this from an article here ), and carries on until September. The Book Club read-a-long of Bleak House is still going strong. We’ve taken another break until August 17th, so grab a copy or download the free audio book and join in! Xenutia’s been hard at work putting together section reviews!

Speaking of Bleak House…The month of September is going to be a Bleak House re-watch! We’ve broken the series down into 4 2-hour sections, starting with watching episodes 1-3 by September 7!

Our Torchwood Re-watch is still going. We’re now into series two, so come on over and share your favourite moments from S2 with us!

The Torchwood radio play, Lost Souls, is set to Air on Radio 4 at 2.15PM on Wednesday 10 September. Sadly, the radio play will not feature Burn’s character, but we have been assured Owen and Tosh will be mentioned.

The Torchwood Series One and Two Soundtrack is now available for purchase through iTunes. For those of you without iTunes, a Mp3 version is available for purchase through Silva Screen, as well as the CD pre-order. Come on over and tell us what your favourite track is!

for our Canadian friends, Torchwood S2 has started airing on Space! Tune in Friday nights at 9Pm EST.

Rounding out the Torchwood news, we have information about the title for series three, as well as a sneak peak at the cover for Torchwood Magazine #8, which will feature an interview with Burn Gorman!

Burn Gorman recently appeared in Episode 5 of the BBC series, Bonekickers as a Soldier from WWI. Join us over on our forums as we discuss the episode and share screencaps.

ITV has sent us the official press release for Wuthering Heights! All they can tell us right now is it is set to air in early 2009, but head on over to our Wuthering Heights forum to discuss this series and book!

According to DVD Times, The oxford Murders will be released to DVD on 1 September in the UK. No word yet on a US release, either to theatres or DVD.

Issue 8 of Torchwood Magazine, set for sale on August 14th, features a 20-questions style interview with Burn.

Titan Magazines has the following to say about the feature:

Silva Screen are now offering the full Torchwood soundtrack for download at their website, at the price of £7.99 for the album or £0.79 a track. You need to register for an account with Silva Screen to buy. There are no Country or OS restrictions that I can find, but if in doubt, it’s always best to check with them before purchase!

No sign of an iTunes release outside the US as of yet, but the CD release is still set for 22nd September.
